Update as of March 25, 2020
Our staff has been working hard in the last week to provide food and support for so many great organizations in the area! We were able to partner with the Extra Table team to connect with different food pantries on the MS Gulf Coast in need of healthy food. We have given over $10,000 in produce, dairy and egg products to Lend a Hand, Salvation Army, Hancock County Pantry and Loaves and Fishes. We will continue to give as much as we can this week in order help our community during this time. Stay safe.
Update as of April 1, 2020
From the desk of Phil Juliano, Executive Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer of Twin River Worldwide Holdings, Inc.
In recent weeks, the gaming industry, as well as all of America, has been working through unprecedented challenges with the recent outbreak of COVID-19. Although we are adapting daily and finding new solutions as we go, we are focused on re-opening all of our properties, including Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi, as soon as it is deemed safe to do so, as we miss seeing our guests each day and want to have our employees back here as soon as we can. As our valued customer, I want to assure you we are thinking of you and hope you are all healthy and safe during this difficult time.
We are working closely with the State of Mississippi and their continued efforts to contain the spread of the COVID-19. We believe our temporary closure is necessary and during this time, will continue to work diligently to implement additional protective measures for our customers upon re-opening. This includes significant sanitizing and cleaning and working with the Department of Health to implement additional protections for customers, before the facilities reopen.
Given the current circumstances, we are committed to continue helping our community. We have provided food and support for so many great organizations in the area! We partnered with the Extra Table team to connect with several food pantries on the MS Gulf Coast. We have donated over $10,000 in produce, dairy and eggs to Lend a Hand, Salvation Army Hancock County Pantry and Loaves and Fishes.
